  • AQUA [WATER]

    Deep spring water

    BÖRLIND’s own deep spring water comes from 166 meters below ground. It is characterized by its high level of purity and impeccable microbiological quality.

  • ALCOHOL

    Pure undenatured ethyl alcohol, potable alcohol

    Pure (undenatured) potable alcohol, derived from the fermentation of plants containing starch or sugar, is used as a solvent for extracts and active substances. It also has refreshing, vascular toning and preserving effects.

  • ZINC PCA

    Zinc salt of pyrrolidone carbonic acid (PCA)

    The zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid has a moisturizing, mattifying and antimicrobial effect.

  • SODIUM SALICYLATE

    Salicylic acid salt

    This salt of salicylic acid has an antimicrobiall effect.

  • LACTIC ACID

    Lactic acid

    Lactic acid, derived from plants through fermentation, has a moisturizing effect. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).

  • GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE

    Lipid component

    This lipid component, derived from plant fatty acids and vegetable glycerin, stabilizes emulsions. It is also moisturizing and nourishing.

  • CHONDRUS CRISPUS POWDER [CARRAGEENAN]

    Carrageenan

    Carrageenan, obtained from red algae, is used as a natural gelling agent. It also has a moisturizing effect.

  • MALIC ACID

    Malic acid

    Malic acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid). It has moisturizing properties and a mild exfoliant effect.

  • XANTHAN GUM

    Xanthan

    Xanthan gum is obtained through fermentation from a plant substrate and is used as a natural gelling agent.

  • ALLANTOIN

    Allantoin

    Allantoin occurs naturally in comfrey, black salsify and horse chestnuts. It relieves irritation and has a regenerating effect

  • DIPOTASSIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE

    Potassium salt of glycyrrhizinic acid

    This active substance, derived from licorice root, nourishes sensitive skin, strengthens and relieves irritation.

  • CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL WHEAT BRAN/STRAW GLYCOSIDES

    Wheat bran-based botanical glycosides

    This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

  • FUSEL WHEAT BRAN/STRAW GLYCOSIDES

    Solubility promoter

    This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

  • CITRIC ACID

    Citric acid

    Citric acid is obtained from plant substrate through fermentation. It is used to regulate pH levels. It is also an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid).

  • POLYGLYCERYL-5 OLEATE

    Emulsifier

    This emulsifier, derived from plant substances, binds water with oil.

  • SODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE

    Cleansing substance/surfactant

    This cleansing substance is a very mild and highly biologically degradable surfactant used to cleanse skin and hair.
