DESCRIPTION
Konzert is an antifungal medication of the imidazole class. It is available as a cream to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot.

HOW SHOULD I USE KONZERT?
Use Konzert as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.
- An extra patient leaflet is available with Konzert. Talk to your pharmacist if you have questions about this information.
- Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medicine.
- Gently rub the medicine until it is evenly distributed to the affected area and to a small section of healthy skin that surrounds the area.
- Do not bandage or wrap the affected area unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
- Wash your hands immediately after using Konzert.
- To clear up your infection completely, continue using Konzert for the full course of treatment, even if your symptoms get better in a few days. Do not miss any doses.
- If you miss a dose of Konzert, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not use 2 doses at once.
Konzert is used to treat a fungal infection called tenia pedis or athlete's foot (a fungal infection of the skin on the feet and between the toes) and other fungal and yeast infections.
KONZERT DOSAGE
Usual Adult Dose for Tinea Pedis
Apply topically twice a day for 4 weeks.
Use: For the topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis (due to Trichophyton rubrum, T mentagrophytes, and Epidermophyton floccosum) in immunocompetent patients
Usual Pediatric Dose for Tinea Pedis
12 years or older: Apply topically twice a day for 4 weeks.
Use: For the topical treatment of interdigital tinea pedis (due to T rubrum, T mentagrophytes, and E floccosum) in immunocompetent patients
Administration advice:
-Only use topically; not for ophthalmic, oral, or intravaginal use.
-Apply a sufficient amount of drug to cover both the affected areas between the toes and the immediate surrounding healthy skin.
-If used after bathing, dry the affected areas thoroughly before application.
Patient advice:
-Wash hands after applying the cream; avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, vagina, and other mucous membranes.
-Do not use occlusive dressing unless instructed by physician.
